Surah 9: At-Tawbah (The Repentance)

Surah 9, titled At-Tawbah (The Repentance), is a Medinan sura that addresses the dissolution of treaties with polytheists (Surah 9:1), commands warfare against those who break oaths and oppose the faith (Surah 9:5, 9:13, 9:29), and sharply criticizes hypocrites who avoid military service (Surah 9:45, 9:49, 9:81).
